Our staff are all artisans in their own right, and we share a passion for producing amazing food. We love to see you enjoy it - that is what drives us!
Signature Sourdough & Pastries
At our bakery, we take pride in offering the finest naturally leavened bread and pastries, freshly baked each morning. Our bread is mixed using "levain", or sourdough starter, which is hand mixed daily. The levain is responsible for a unique fermentation process which produces anti-oxidants and lactobacillus, which is known for its health benefits and ease of digestion. We cold proof our bread for 12 - 24 hours so that fermentation is slow. This develops flavour and reduces the effect of continued fermentation in your digestive system.
Breakfast & Brunch
French 50 uniquely offers either a cafe experience - where you can enjoy a specialty coffee and pastry, or a full breakfast or brunch. Our patio is covered, heated and enclosed in winter, giving us three seasons of use. Offered all week long!

Pizza & Bistro
As the day wraps up and evening settles in, our bakery and cafe transforms into a casual Pizza & Bistro destination. Savour the enchanting flavours of our handcrafted pizzas and bistro bites. The evening menu includes a curated selection of drinks and wine, and a beer menu featuring local micro-breweries. unique appetizers menu, and irresistible desserts, making it a perfect way to unwind and enjoy a sit-down dinner.
